Robin R. Pendleton has been an avid reader of romance novels since her teens, many moons ago.  Her personal library however, was devoid of romance novels by African-Americans until she was introduced to Terry McMillan's Waiting to Exhale. Her fervor for reading intensified, along with her collection and motivation to eventually write her own books. In 2003, her novel More Than You Ever Know was published.

Combining her linguistic acumen, love for African-American literature, and appreciation for writers and avid readers, Robin R. Pendleton is the Senior Editor and Project Coordinator for Pyramid Books, Florida's largest African-American owned and operated bookstore. She enjoys being a bridge builder between the community, their favorite national and local authors and the books that unite them. Of course, her siblings aren't surprised that she is still correcting others, only this time people are paying her to do so as their editor. Robin is also a book reviewer for The Romantic Times Book reviews magazine.
